May 2011 Asylum Final Results

Hey everyone i just wanted to update you all that i have officially finished the Insanity Asylum, a full review of the program will be posted later on but i just want to talk about my results.

After finishing this program i can literally say i feel like an elite athlete now. i was in pretty good shape when i started but right now i am in elite condition, the asylum has transformed me,  and took my fitness to a new level. it didn't come easy though, it took a lot of hard work, and determination, and i ate a 100% clean diet the whole 30 days (no cheat foods at all). these workouts were the hardest workouts i have ever done before, the workouts are really unlike anything you have ever seen.

Before i started the Asylum i was worried about losing muscle mass in this program because of how cardio based it was, but now finishing it i can say i actually built muscle with this program, when i first started i could do 18 consecutive pull ups, now after finishing i was able to do 20 consecutive pull ups and 25 in a minute, thats a giant increase in strength! i really learned a lot about cross training in this program and that is what i believe took me to the next level.

so what else did i gain, well let me say when i first started the Asylum i really wasn't that good at jump roping, and i would be hitting the agility ladder all the time, after 30 days i now feel like a jump rope master ha ha, i have become very coordinated, and i am so much smoother with the agility ladder!

i noticed a big gain in not only performance, but also in my body, the asylum has dropped my body fat the lowest it has ever been around 4.5%! when i first started i was at 6% so that is a crazy decrease in only 30 days. i also gained a lot of definition in my upper body and abs, also my legs are so much more tone too than when i started.

I have to say thanks to a lot of people and there support without them this program would have been even harder.

first i would like to thank my coach joel Sydanmaa for setting up this awesome competition with beachbody and i am looking forward to seeing the results we get in this competition too, and possibly an infomercial spot ;)

second i would like to say thanks to the Xcellent fitness Asylum Group page, i have made a ton of new friends that all share the same passion for fitness, and i hope we keep the group going because that group is a great accountability group, and tons of inspiration was spread too so i thank all you guys in the group for all you have done.

third i would like to thank my friends and family for there support, i know my family had to deal with a lot of healthy eating when i was home and i appreciate them for the support.

fourth i would like to thank mike french, mike i always love reading all your inspirational quotes you post on Facebook, and they really help me to go as hard as i can during the workouts, i also want to thank you for your information on primal eating as i have limited my grains and i am loving the results, so thanks again mike for all you do! oh and i love your chocolate shakeology ice cream recipe ;)

and last but not least i want to thank Shaun t for this amazing program, shaun you have pushed my body into a whole new level of fitness that i never even thought was possible for me to achieve, i enjoyed all the workouts and i will be using them in future hybrids. i am really looking forward to what you have planned for the next volumes of asylum, thanks again shaun for all you have done.

peace, Fausey
